How do I share a simulation with my learners?
Once you’ve built a simulation, you share it with learners through a Space — the workspace that holds your simulation and collects everyone’s runs and results. Here’s the quickest path, and how to pick the right method.
Step 1 — Turn your simulation into a Space
- Open the Library and find your simulation.
- Click Share on the simulation’s card.
- Keep Create New, give the space a Name, choose an Access Level, and click Create Space. (Already have a space? Choose Add to Existing.)
Cesura opens your new space, ready to share. For the full picture, see How sharing works: spaces, activities & access levels.
Step 2 — Pick how to share
| You want to… | Use this |
|---|---|
| Send a quick link or QR code (most common) | Share a simulation with a link & QR code |
| Run a live session with a group in the room | Run a live session with the Live Dashboard |
| Put it on your own website or intranet | Embed a simulation in a web page |
| Deliver it inside your LMS (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) | SCORM or LTI 1.3 |
| Give access to several activities at once | Share a whole space with participants |
Who needs to sign in? (Access levels)
Your space’s Access Level decides whether learners need an account:
- Anonymous (no sign-in) — anyone with the link can take part; best for open links, QR codes, and embeds.
- LMS — SCORM / LTI 1.3 — learners launch from inside your LMS.
- Registered participants — learners sign in, so results are tied to each person.
- Space members only — only people you’ve added can access it.
You can change the access level any time from the space’s settings. Need to tell who’s who in an anonymous link? See Identifying and tracking individual participants.
