Where to see your participants' results
To see how the people you shared a simulation with did — their scores, completion, and full transcripts — open the activity’s results page inside its Space. (Your personal History shows only the runs you did yourself, so it won’t show your participants’ results.)
Open the results page
- Open the Space that contains the simulation and go to the Content tab.
- On the activity’s card, click Results.
This opens the activity’s results page, Space Simulation Analytics, with everything from everyone who took part.
What’s on the results page
The page is organised into tabs:
- Simulation Analytics (overview) — headline stats: Total Runs, Completion Rate, Average Score, and Median Time, plus charts such as score distribution and criteria performance.
- Participants — one row per person, showing Participant (their name, or "anonymous"), Date/Time, Time (minutes), Message Count, Processing Messages, Score, and Status (Completed / Active / Abandoned). The Actions column opens each person’s full report.
- Grade Book — everyone’s scores at a glance.
- Feedback, Quiz Analytics, and Form Analytics — breakdowns of evaluation results, quiz answers, and form responses (when your activity uses them).
You can search by name and filter by status to find specific participants.
Filter results by group
If your organization uses groups, you can narrow results to one group in two places:
- The activity’s results page: use Filter by group and pick a group, All groups, or Unassigned (learners who belong to no group).
- The space’s Results tab: the Results tab shows every member’s results across all the space’s activities. Use the Group filter to show one group, All groups, or Unassigned.
A run belongs to a group through its learner. It counts for a group when the learner started it from that group’s link or LMS course, or when the learner is a member of that group. Ordinary attempts started inside the space are included.
An instructor who is limited to selected groups sees only the learners in their own groups, on every results page and report, and can pick only those groups in the filter. See Give an instructor access to specific groups.
Open one participant’s full report
On the Participants tab, click the report icon in the Actions column for that person. Their full report opens with the Simulation Chat (the conversation), Feedback (scores and criteria), the Feedback Chat, the learner's Debrief write-up (when the simulation asks for one), and the Quizzes and Forms tabs (when the activity has them).
Repeat attempts and Grade Book flags
If a participant takes the activity more than once, they appear as a single row on the Participants tab and in the Grade Book — showing their best attempt (highest grade; ties go to the most recent). Expand the row to see each individual attempt and open its report. Unique-participant counts and score and time averages count that person once; raw run totals still count every run.
The Grade Book also flags results that stand out from the group:
- A “Low outlier” chip on a participant’s name means their overall score is unusually low compared with the rest of the group.
- A ↓ marker on a single criterion cell means that criterion is unusually low for this person compared with the rest of the group — it can appear even on an already-low cell.
A legend under the Grade Book table explains both markers. Outliers are calculated across the whole group, so the flags stay consistent as you page through participants.
Leave test runs and outliers out of the averages
If some runs shouldn’t count toward your results — your own test runs, an instructor account, or an abandoned attempt — you can exclude a participant so their runs drop out of every average and chart while their row stays visible. See Excluding a participant from report averages.
Putting names to anonymous results
If you shared an anonymous link, runs appear as "anonymous." To tie results to people, add a short form at the start that asks for a name or ID — see Identifying and tracking individual participants.
Stepping through a cohort
Opening a participant’s report keeps you in the same tab, and the report header carries previous and next arrows, the participant’s name and their position in the list — so you can read every learner in order without returning to the table between each one.
Rows from automated test runs name the persona the bot played.
Download the results
To work with the data outside Cesura, open the activity’s ⋮ menu on the Content tab and choose Export Data. It offers three formats; see Exporting your data to Excel for research & analysis. For a single participant’s PDF, see Exporting transcripts & reports.
⚠️ Not the History page. "History" in the sidebar shows only the simulations you ran yourself — it is not where you find other people’s results. To see participants’ results, always use the activity’s results page inside its Space.
