The Credits page: track balance and request more credits
The Credits page is where organization admins see the credit balance, find out who is using it, request more credits from Cesura, and manage budgets and alerts. It replaces the old Usage Report and Banks menu items. Bookmarks and links in older emails open the matching tab of this page.
Open the Credits page
- Open Organization Management from the main menu.
- Select Credits in the sidebar.
The page has five tabs:
| Tab | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Overview | How much is left, how fast it is going, and who is using it. Request more credits here. |
| Budget management | How the balance is divided: the credit pool, user budgets, project budgets, pricing and limits. |
| Consumption | What was spent over a date range, and on what. |
| History | Your purchase requests, and every purchase and adjustment to the balance. |
| Alerts | Credit alerts you set up, and the alerts that have fired. |
The Overview tab
- Balance, with a health badge: Healthy, Low, Empty, Expired or Unlimited.
- Last purchase: the most recent credits added to your organization.
- Used since last purchase: how much of that has been spent.
- Runs out: an estimate at the current pace, for example In about 12 days at the current pace.
- Who used the credits: the top users and the top budgets since the last purchase. It counts charged credits only; free usage, such as testing runs, is not included.
Select View full report to open the Consumption tab for the same period. Recent purchase requests lists your latest requests; View history opens the full list.
Organizations that pay their own AI provider
If your organization runs simulations on its own AI provider account (BYOK), it pays that provider directly, and its credit pool is unlimited:
- Balance shows ∞ with the Unlimited badge.
- There is no Runs out estimate.
- There is no Buy more credits button. A purchase request sent before the switch stays visible, and you can still cancel it.
User budgets and project budgets still limit spending. See Run simulations on your own AI provider account (BYOK).
Request more credits
You request credits in the app. Nothing is charged when you send the request.
- On the Overview tab, select Buy more credits.
- In Request a credit purchase from Cesura, enter the Credits to purchase. The field starts with the amount of your last purchase.
- Optional: add a Message to Cesura (optional), for example a purchase order number or a deadline.
- Select Send purchase request.
A Cesura representative contacts you to confirm the price and payment, and then adds the credits to your organization. The request completes on its own when the credits are added. You do not need to close it.
Your organization can have one pending request at a time. While it is pending, the button reads Purchase request pending, with the amount and the date. To withdraw it, select Cancel request.
If you see “Your request was saved, but Cesura was not notified”, write to Cesura through Contact support under Get help in the sidebar so the purchase can go ahead.
Track a request
The History tab lists every request under Purchase requests, with who sent it and its status:
- Pending: Cesura has the request and has not added the credits yet.
- Completed: the credits were added. The status shows how many.
- Declined: Cesura declined the request. The reason Cesura gave appears with it.
- Cancelled: someone in your organization cancelled it.
Below the requests, a table lists every purchase and adjustment to your balance, with the date, amount and who made it.
The Budget management tab
This tab holds the credit pool and the four ways you divide and govern it: User budgets, Project budgets, Pricing and Limits. See Usage & Budgets: how organization billing works.
For an organization on its own AI provider, the credit pool shows ∞ and reads “Your organization pays its AI provider directly, so this pool has no limit. Set user and project budgets to control usage.” No credits can be added to it.
The Consumption tab
Pick a date range, such as Last 30 Days or a Custom Range, and optionally Filter by bank to look at one budget. The tab shows total consumption split by kind of usage, a Usage Over Time chart, and breakdowns by user, space and simulation. The balance card shows the live balance and does not change with the dates.
Low-credit emails
Cesura emails your organization admins when a balance needs attention: when the credit pool or a budget becomes low, runs out, is about to expire, or expires. An email about the credit pool shows the balance, the last purchase and what has been used since; an email about a budget shows that budget’s balance and the pool’s. Either has a button that opens the Overview tab.
- Who receives it: every active organization admin, in their own interface language.
- How often: once each time a balance enters one of those states. You get another email only when the state changes again, not every day. A balance that recovers and later drops again sends a new email.
- Which balance: when the alert is about one budget, the email names that budget and says that only the spaces it funds are affected. It does not claim the whole organization is out of credits.
When a balance counts as low
You can set a Low-balance threshold of your own on the credit pool or on a budget. Where you have not, Cesura sizes the threshold to the most credits that balance has ever held:
- It is low at one fifth of that peak.
- The line never sits below 50 credits.
- It never sits above half the peak, so a small budget does not read as low the moment you fund it.
| Most the balance has held | Counts as low at |
|---|---|
| 40 credits | 20 credits |
| 100 credits | 50 credits |
| 1,000 credits | 200 credits |
The Alerts tab
Low-credit emails are automatic. On the Alerts tab you can also add alerts of your own under Credit Alerts. Select Create Alert and choose what to watch: User Consumption, Space Consumption, Organization Consumption, Remaining Credits or Credits Exhausted. Custom alerts are not currently sent by email, so rely on the automatic low-credit emails above to hear about your balance.
