What's new: your announcements inbox

Cesura posts product news in the app itself — new features, changes to how something works, and planned maintenance. It arrives in your own inbox, so you see each item once and can clear it when you have read it.

Where to find it

Open Get help in the sidebar and choose What's new. The entry carries a badge with the number of unread items, so you can tell at a glance whether anything is waiting.

On a narrow screen, where the sidebar sits behind the menu button, a bell appears in the header instead. Same inbox.

Reading it

Items arrive newest first, as cards. Filter tabs across the top split them up, each labelled with its own unread count:

All Everything currently published.
Features Something new you can use.
Updates A change to something that already existed.
Maintenance Planned work, or something you may need to act on.

Scroll to load more. Mark all read clears the badge without opening each item. Dismiss removes one from your inbox — your read state is yours alone, so dismissing an item does not affect your colleagues.

Some items carry a link to the thing they describe, often an article here in the help center.

Why it is always in English

Announcements are written once, in English, rather than machine-translated per reader. So the inbox renders them in English and left to right whatever language the rest of your interface is in — including in Hebrew and Arabic, where the rest of the screen reads right to left. That is deliberate: it is better to read accurate English than an unreviewed translation of a change to your billing.

What if I dismissed something I needed?

Announcements expire on their own schedule, and a dismissed item does not come back. If you cleared something and want it again, the same news is usually in the help center — search here, or use the Contact support row just below Get help in the sidebar.
